Cup of Joe is a Filipino pop band that was established in Baguio, Philippines, in November 2018. Initially formed by senior high friends from Saint Louis University Laboratory High School, the group came together to perform at a local event. What started casually quickly gained momentum.
Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto and Francis Concepcion started out as individual child contestants at a local TV talent show, Tawag ng Tanghalan. While none of them won the contest, they later banded together to form the vocal trio, the TNT Boys, definitely packing a more impressive vocal punch. The original members of the Juans, Carl Guevarra, Japs Mendoza, Jiad Arroyo, Daniel Gorospe and Jason de Mesa had the looks, talent and vibe, which is why it’s devastating that they eventually decided to part ways. Although they have since reformatted, fans who have been with the Juans from the start still grieve at the split.
